Vocal Technique Sessions
These sessions are all about YOUR voice. Brooke offers guidance to help you sing the way you want to sing, in a way that is comfortable, safe, and sustainable for your voice. Whether you’re looking to improve your belt for musical theater, increase your vocal range to sing more operatically, or develop stamina for lengthy liturgical services, you will discover all the tools you need to sing with confidence and ease. She’ll also help you work through those challenges with your voice that feel difficult to resolve on your own - from navigating your mix voice to improving your breath support [or insert other challenges here]. Brooke also offers guidance on how to care for and maintain your vocal instrument, so that you can make the choices that are most comfortable for YOUR voice.
Audition Prep Sessions
I will work with you to help you choose audition repertoire that you LOVE, and that will highlight all of your voice’s strengths. In addition, I will also help you explore all of the ways you can sing it to achieve the kind of sound you want! In the process, you’ll develop vocal versatility and confidence that will shine the moment you walk into the audition room, ensuring a successful audition no matter what.
Byzantine Chant Technique
In these sessions, combining my expertise as a vocal technician with my working knowledge of Byzantine music, I help clergy and aspiring clergy develop the vocal stamina and technique required for singing services. Together we will focus on building confidence, discover how to maintain a healthy and consistent vocal production in this unique style of chant. Whether you’re brand-new to singing and want to work on matching pitch, or a more seasoned chanter looking to hone your technique and improve your vocal health, Brooke’s approach meets you right where you are.
